Bitcoin’s 12th Birthday Sees Satoshi Become World’s 33rd Richest Person

Satoshi Nakamoto is now the 33rd richest person in the world on Bitcoin’s 12th birthday. Nakamoto has surpassed the names of Len Blavatnik, He Xiangjian, and Sheldon Adelson.

A news publication on utoday says that Satoshi Nakamoto is now the 33rd richest man alive on the earth on Bitcoin’s 12th birthday. During July this year, Whale Alert recorded that Nakamoto has a wealth of 1,125,150 BTC stashed before he decided to leave the community. 

This happened more than a decade ago when he said bid adieu. However, market analysts have now claimed that there is a good possible chance that he is alive, and if that was so, Satoshi would have a net worth of $39.15 billion. 

Lavonne Tew who is a cryptocurrency analyst had this to tweet on Satoshi Nakamoto becoming the 33rd richest person in the world on bitcoin’s 12th birthday. 

Yesterday, Bitcoins raced effortlessly to $34000 surpassing the market cap of Alibaba. But people with pseudonyms are not placed on the richest list formed by magazines. Messari’s Ryan Watkins says that Satoshi Nakamoto was never a person, but he was a symbol. 

Bitcoin was formed in the month of January 2009. The first Bitcoin block having 50 coins was mined by Satoshi Nakamoto. During last month, Bitcoins went past 600 million transactions, highlighting the fact that is now an accepted norm. 

However, the first transaction happened between Nakamoto and Hal Finney in January 2009. Andreas Antonopoulos, who is a cryptocurrency evangelist felt that the design of the world’s first cryptocurrency is now separate from money and state.    

Antonopoulos says that the world is not the same anymore with Bitcoins. It is bound to change for good. The separation of money and state is now possible for millions of traders around the planet. 

Antonopoulos thanks Satoshi and Hal Finney for the bitcoin experimenters done earlier for the sake of humanity. Jack Dorsey, who is the CEO of Twitter and Square, wished Bitcoin a happy birthday.

Tim Draper, who is a venture capitalist is now part of the billionaire group. This information is based according to Kraken’s Pete Rizzo. Draper predicted that Bitcoin would comfortably reach close to $250,000 by 2020.
