
Huawei Cloud, the cloud infrastructure subsidiary of Chinese tech behemoth Huawei, has announced the formation of the metaverse and web3 alliance, which will include Morpheus Labs, DeepBrain Chain, Blockchain Solutions, and Polygon.
Simultaneously, Tencent (the world’s largest game firm) announced its complete entry into Web3 with “Metaverse-in-a-Box” to #AccelerateWeb3Success.
The Official Announcement During APAC Partner Leadership Summit 2023:
While in Bali, Indonesia, from February 23 to 24th, for the APAC Partner Leadership Summit 2023 with the theme “Go Together, Grow Together,” Huawei Cloud APAC announced plans to fortify its partner ecosystem.
Reporter Collin Wu mentioned Huawei Cloud’s announcement in a Twitter thread update, noting that “several of the projects have a terrible reputation.”
Similarly, Tencent Cloud, China’s cloud service provider, announced its full entry into Web3, announcing its partnership with blockchain platforms such as Ankr, Avalanche, Scroll, and Sui.
Additionally, Poshu Yeung, Senior Vice President of Tencent Cloud International, claimed that the platform focuses on “strong technical support of Web3.”
He stated that:
With a transparent digital future ahead, Tencent cloud is prepared to, through its accumulated experience in the field of games, audio, and video, provide strong technical support for Web3. Tencent Cloud will cooperate with industry partners to offer more immersive experiences and cultivate the Web3 ecosystem.
Before tweeting about Huawei Cloud’s new agreements, on February 22, Collin Wu tweeted that Tencent Cloud was forming new alliances on his Twitter profile.
