The first Gaming Guild in the Elrond Ecosystem – Egld.gg

The GameFi industry has boomed in the past few months, which is evident by the plethora of opportunities being offered to gamers around the world. In addition, several projects have joined the GameFi industry by providing unique services.

The highly scalable public blockchain and distributed transactional computation protocol, Elrond has announced the launch of the first gaming guild in the network, Egld.gg. A gaming guild is a decentralized body that operates independently and plays games in the GameFi industry.

Egld.gg is the first gaming guild dedicated to the Elron Network ecosystem and was founded by the strategic partner Morningstar Ventures. The guild will spearhead the P2E movement by combining gaming communities, education, investments and scholarship in a single place.

The gaming guild aims to become a hub for Elrond gamers where they have early access to the hottest and latest games, earn rewards, contribute to interesting ideas, socialize, and more. The founders of egld.gg also plan to go a step further than other guilds by curating special events that are reserved for Elrond gamers, an engaging mechanism for the lending of NFTs and digital assets and enabling meet and greet between famous gamers and founders.

About Elrond Network

Elrond is a distributed transactional computation protocol which utilizes a sharded state architecture and a secure Proof of Stake consensus mechanism, which allows it to run on normal computers instead of dedicated custom hardware.

The Elron network offers a viable solution where the three components of sharding – state, network and transactions are implemented at once. Moreover, the adaptive component of Elron, when combined with the novel architecture, allows for dynamic configuration to maintain a high level of security while scaling with demand.

Elrond is a highly scalable, fast and secure blockchain network for distributed apps, enterprise use cases and the new internet economy.
